Cats and baskets

It's not the first time this has happened in our family of cats, but I was lucky enough to have the camera to hand this time.  Kan has managed to squeeze into this small basket for a comfy(?) nap!

Cats find comfort in the strangest of places don't they?  We've found them curled up in the empty sink when it's been very hot, inside the airing cupboard and behind the washing machine to name just three.  Where's your cat's favourite sleeping place at the moment?

Aw! I don't have a cat, but these pics remind me of my toddler! She ends up in the oddest of places too:) Vic x

Our boy is nearly 17 so its the sofa or the bed. If you get a chance go on to You Tube and just put the word MARU in - this cat has a thing about boxes, big, medium and impossibly small, its great therapy watching the videos. This shot reminded me of it :)

Awww... they are funny aren't they?!
Milly insists on sleeping under a blanket on the sofa (we have to make a 'tent' for her...) and Bean is far more sensible and just sleeps on the bed :)

Awww! Thanks for that - it gave me a good old giggle. They're so silly the places they try and squash themselves into. I took pics of mine yesterday as he'd chosen to sleep on top of Pilchard Pyjama case and looked like he was giving it a cuddle. (just in case... Pilchard is the turquoise cat in Bob The Builder!)

Thank you for dropping by and commenting, so lovely to read about your cats (and toddlers!).

I've just remembered another weird sleeping place for our youngest puss, Pepper. When he was still a kitten he'd curl up in an opened sack of coal (kept in the utility room in darkish place). As he is a black cat, a rather ingenious hiding place I think! Took us ages to find him the first time it happened!

Keep the stories coming, it's great to read them.

Aww such a cutie! One of our cats will always curl up in a bag for life if we leave one lying around!!

Our old cat used to sleep in the neighbours coal shed, under my brother's bed, and once in the cool bag! And his sister was quite partial to curling up on the bird table. Can't think why.....

Lovely blog by the way, am now following (I hope) :-) xx
