Off to the beach

One of the joys of HE. Good weather = down tools and head off somewhere else. Weather was fabulous yesterday so after riding, a bit of work, a bit of tidying (a very tiny bit), quick pack up of some grub and a BBQ and we headed off to one of the many Norfolk beaches for the afternoon.

The tide was out but there was an overflow from a nearby river which meant we could put our wellies to good use and go for a paddle to hunt out some beautiful stones and shells. I even remembered to pack the Usborne Seaside pocket book LOL! We also remembered the binoculars (for once) and put those to good use too looking at sea-side birds (mainly gulls and a couple of ducks!), distant off-shore wind-farms, a very tall building directly opposite us (which Paul reckoned was the Boston Stump - not so sure myself, would need to check that out) and a beach skimming pleasure plane!
