seem to be the order of the day. Three new items have been listed for sale at Ellie's Treasures in the last week or so - each one rather cute, a little bit special and all carefully hand sewn.
Let's start with a fairy. These little toadstools are getting quite familiar in my shop now, and are still my best selling item, but this time I decided to do something different. A key fob. Haven't a key fob in quite a while and seeing as how I was making myself one, to keep the yard keys safe, I thought I'd add a keyring to this toadstool too - to be a little different. Like the brooches, it's very sturdy and with it's double strength ribbon holding the silver split keyring, will be perfect for the job.
Last time I featured this little charm was on a Christmas decoration. She is so dainty and could quite easily be a little ballerina fairy in her pretty tutu. I've used my favourite striking blue felt and have sandwiched a couple of layers of tie-dye t-shirt cotton between the front and back. It seems to give it a pretty edge, in it's blends of white, green and blue. The embroidered flowers and tiny seed beads make this brooch quite lovely I think.
Last, but most definitely not least this adorable little rabbit (or could it be a hare?) under the blossom tree brooch. I am absolutely thrilled with these new charms, they are so detailed, and seeing as the bunny appears to be holding a decorated egg, it's ideal as a little gift for Easter.
