... I seem to be on a roll at the moment trying to sew every evening (except Wednesdays - that's my "phone Mum" night!).
New at Ellie's Treasures is this rather sweet duckling keyring.
Felt with tiny seed beads lining the gentle waves! The cute duckling is a ceramic button. Perfect for keys of course, but ideal as a zip pull too or a handbag/pencil case charm.
I've rolled out my second coin purse wallet too - once again it has sections for notes, coins and cards.
I was a little quicker at completing it this time, even though hand sewing denim is a nightmare for my fingertips!! For the lining and inside card pockets I have used a vintage cotton material which has a striking green and white diamond pattern. I like the idea of adding something patterned with the plain of the denim. One evening I had one of those "must try something new" moments and starting sewing a little house out of cotton using the roughest of embroidery stitches. I do love the look of free-hand machine embroidery so I wanted to try something as free-hand as possible. Adding the little fence and flowery garden I was so pleased with the result I decided to add it to the cover. Hope you like it.
