By the evening, outdoor temperatures were absolutely spot on - balmy with a gentle warm breeze. We took the car for a short drive to the banks of the Nene Outfall which runs into the Wash. The tide was high and everything was just perfect and peaceful. We even spotted a seal swimming along, but it would have looked like a black dot in the camera lens so we didn't take any photos!
